  1. We’re getting into those rare days here when the ocean temperature is warmer than the air temperature, however briefly and even it just a fraction of a degree.
    Tide pooling in Maine these days is delightful — your toes don’t freeze.
    So how do you convey that range of reality in photos? It’s as perfect as it gets.

    • Yes, it’s a nice time of year. The tide pools are amazing, if you spend enough time with them. The Rachel Carson pools in New Harbor, ME are especially impressive.

      Thanks for the comment on the photos, the light was excellent that day, and I was able to capture a lot of detail in the shot. I wanted to keep these photos together, as they represent two views from the same spot. I wanted to put the viewer in my shoes (or sandals). Thanks for stopping by Jnana-
